Match which starts strong with very open play. It will settle down quite quickly as the minutes go by. First chance for Nathan Marchon from the 3rd minute solo in front Sandro Aeschlimannthen a numerical superiority for the Dragons not transformed into a goal. A twist of fate: after this punishment, Adam Tambellini finds the skylight Berra Challenge for 0-1. But Gottéron is in control of the match, even if we don’t find Friborg as convincing as in its last outings.
In the second half, Gottéron created a lot of chances, but not really with all the vigor desired. Rather poorly exploited possibilities, with the exception of the one that Mauro Dufner was able to convert in the 28th minute. We should have taken advantage of the momentum that Davos was able to turn to his advantage 108 seconds later. A beautiful imprecision of Dave Sutter et Valentin Nussbaumer gives the advantage back to Graubünden.
Davosians were ultimately a little wait-and-see and even let Friborg pass through the sides before countering the Dragons when they planned to move towards the slot. It’s tiring and Gottéron is also showing some signs of weariness. The people of Friborg have the initiative, the people of Graubünden have control.
