The region will perhaps shine again on television this weekend! This Saturday January 11, 2025 at 9:10 p.m., the premiere semi-final of Star Academy will be broadcast on TF1. Two students will compete on the prime and will try to reach the grand final. We will find in particular Marinethe young singer from Arras, in Pas-de-Calais. If you don’t know her yet, we’ll introduce her to you…
A stint on The Voice before revealing himself to Star Ac’
Marine Delplace is 24 years old and was born in Arras. The young woman grew up near River before moving to the North and Lille to continue his studies at the faculty of dental surgery. Last October, TF1 broadcast a report at the end of its 1 p.m. news to present Marine.
The Arrageoise had just learned that she was joining the new Star Academy promotion. “I chose dental studies because I liked it, but my real passion is music. If I could become a singer, I would be ready to give up everything just to do that,” she emphasized.
Marine started music very early, at age 6, with her first piano and singing lessons. Growing up, she gave concerts at Saint-Nicolas or at the Casino d’Arras. Her passion pushed her to participate in the show The Voice Kids in 2015. His interpretation of Rolling in the deep Adèle unfortunately did not allow him to continue the adventure.
But she didn’t give up and made a sparkling return to television with Star Academy. Throughout the premiums and daily shows, viewers were able to discover a formidable singer but also a “true and frank” woman. She does not hesitate to point out where she comes from: from the Nord – Pas-de-Calais!
An RC Lens fan at the castle of Dammarie-lès-Lys
We could see her preparing a maroilles tart at the castle, singing The Corons by Pierre Bachelet on the piano and shout his love for RC Lens.
The one who saw herself leaving the adventure “after a week” managed to make it to the semi-final and conquer the hearts of the public. Public who gathered this Tuesday in Arras to support her before the prime on Saturday evening. Nearly 1000 people were present on Heroes’ Square.
There is no doubt that the inhabitants of the region will mobilize once again to support Marine who will be opposed to Charles, a young 18-year-old Breton, on Saturday evening on the Star Academy set.
Go Marine!
