Under the slogan “School sport for open and efficient students”, the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports, in coordination with the Royal Moroccan Federation of School Sport, the Regional Academy of Education and the Training of Fez-Meknes and the Regional Directorate of Taza, organized, from January 9 to 12, the National School Rugby Championship for the U15 and U18 categories, which was a success throughout the online, with the participation of more than 309 students, girls and boys, from all regions of the Kingdom.
On the evening of Saturday January 11, the matches took place at the El-Mahdi Larbi stadium in Taza.
The closing ceremony of this school sports event ended in the presence of the Director of the School Sports Promotion Department, the Deputy President of the FRMSS Mr. Abdeslam Mili, the Director of the Fès Meknes Academy Mr. Fouad Rawadi, the Regional Director of Taza and the Regional Director of Taounate, staff of the Directorate for the Promotion of School Sports, members of the Administrative Office of the FRMSS, heads of delegations and numerous civil and civil personalities military and the audience who attended the two finals of the U15 female category which brought together the Marrakech-Safi Academy team and the Souss Massa Academy team and which ended in favor of the latter for win the title of national champion
The occasion also made it possible to honor several actors for their efforts to promote school sport and the success of these national events, in addition to the director of the Directorate for the Promotion of School Sports and the delegate president of the Royal Moroccan Sports Federation Abdeslam Mili school.
On this occasion, the director of the school sports promotion department and deputy president of the FRMSS, Abdessalam Mili, sent his sincere congratulations to all the Champions crowned during this national school championship and to the educational staff who worked to supervise them to achieve these exceptional results, and thanked the local authorities, the security services, the Royal Gendarmerie, the Auxiliary Forces and Civil Protection for having ensured the conditions for the success of this national school sports event.
All participating teams expressed their satisfaction with the conditions in which the tournament took place, whether in terms of accommodation, catering or transport, thanks to the concerted efforts of the local and central committees to enable this group to elite participants from different Regions to show their skills and sporting talents as future champions.
