Let’s start construction work on the future federal football training center in Casablanca. The phase of structural works and exterior developments of this important sports infrastructure has just been launched at the initiative of the FRMF and the National Agency for Public Facilities, for an amount of around 182 million dirhams.
The training center will be built on 12 ha of land, with a constructed area of approximately 16,000 square meters and an accommodation capacity of 160 beds (110 boys and 50 girls). The land chosen for this project is located in the Lahraouiyine commune, in the province of Médiouna.
The center will have 2 natural grass football pitches, a synthetic turf pitch, a hybrid turf pitch, a goalkeeper warm-up pitch, 2 multi-purpose sports pitches, a beach soccer pitch, an indoor multi-sports hall , as well as a semi-Olympic indoor swimming pool.
The architectural competition for the design of this site was won in July 2024 by the group of architects Chakib Benabdellah and Said Belahmer.
