Saturday morning you had to be in Lagarrigue to attend the event at the start of 2025: the opening of the Lagarrigue synthetic stadium for the first training session.
It was Ghislaine Crayssac, deputy to the town hall’s “associative life” commission, who opened the doors to the stadium, under the watchful eye of Edmond Routaboul, president of the works, town planning and environment commission, Julien Alvergne, happy president of AS Olemps football and many coaches and players of the club. Ghislaine Crayssac made it clear that this equipment would benefit all Olempiens, not only footballers, but also schoolchildren during inter-school meetings.
It was the U7-U9 who had the honor of being the first to set foot on the new synthetic pitch that they inaugurated during this first training session of the year!
Two matches also took place there this Saturday afternoon: one in U17 in the Viasanté Cup against Espoir foot88 and a late championship match, in seniors 2, against Sainte-Radegonde. A lovely Christmas gift for the club office.
