The 27-year-old Italian defender Luiz Felipe will join Olympique de Marseille, the sports management of Radio France learned, confirming information from the Team. OM will thus register its first recruit of the winter transfer window.
Free from any contract, the Italian international belonged to the Saudi club Al-Ittihad, coached by Laurent Blanc, where he only took part in one of the 13 championship matches.
Former player of the Spanish club Betis Seville, he was recruited for 22 million euros in September 2023 by the Saudi club. His arrival is scheduled for Monday January 6 in Marseille to sign an 18-month contract.
