Revealed under the colors of AS Eupen, Emmanuel Agbadou could offer himself the best transfer of his career by joining the Premier League and Wolverhampton. The Wolves would be ready to take out the checkbook for the Ivorian international.

In September 2020, Emmanuel Agbadou joined AS Eupen, then comfortably installed in the Jupiler Pro League and future semi-finalist of the Belgian Cup, from the Ivorian club San Pedro, for €300,000.

Two years later, the central defender, now 27 years old, had shown that he had the qualities to already take a step forward in his career, without going to a top club in our championship.

It was the Stade de which went to get him, in 2022, for an amount close to three million euros. Since then, the Ivorian international (7 selections) has become essential in Champagne-Ardenne.

From Kehrweg to the Premier League for Emmanuel Agbadou?

Now captain since the start of the season, Emmanuel Agbadou has only missed one Ligue 1 match, against , due to a suspension for yellow card abuse. His performances naturally attract interest.

According to information from the French daily l‘TeamAgbadou could, quite simply, become the first big sale of a French club this winter. While Stuttgart had made inquiries in recent weeks, Wolverhampton could take out the checkbook and offer… 20 million euros to Stade de Reims, which is not a seller but which might not be able to refuse such a sum.

Currently tenth in Ligue 1, four points from and first place in Europe, Reims has the choice: refuse the offers and try to play in Europe, or ensure profits to start on a new basis. The next few days will tell us more.
