Trained at La Masia, Mika Marmol could bring big returns to FC Barcelona. Indeed, according to the latest information from Sport, Barça still holds 50% of the rights to the young central defender. Several clubs would therefore be interested in paying his clause of 10 million euros. Having become one of the strong men of Las Palmas, the future of Mika Marmol has been the subject of intense debate since last summer. The defender’s contract expires in 2026 and the club have said they are not willing to discuss a possible extension. As a result, several foreign clubs are eyeing the young Spaniard, like AS Roma, who are struggling in Serie A. In Spain, Betis Sevilla and Girona are showing strong interest. A golden opportunity for FC Barcelona which needs to replenish the club’s coffers.
