Sparta Prague continues to fully rely on Bryan Reynolds. The Czech first division club has made a second offer for the Westerlo full-back, who is still hesitant.
Sparta Prague is all about Bryan Reynolds and has just made a second offer, which amounts to two million euros, supplemented by a 500,000 euro bonus and a percentage of 10% on the added value of his future transfer . However, Westerlo is still hesitant.
The Czech club, currently third in the championship behind Slavia and Plzen, has already been interested in the 23-year-old American for a year and a half, tracked by Anderlecht and Club Bruges before his arrival in Belgium. Sparta’s offer is, however, lower than the 3.5 million euros that Westerlo paid last year to AS Roma to afford the services of the international hopeful, Marlon Fossey’s probable future competitor in the selection.
The full-back is also one of the highest paid players at Kuipje. His departure would therefore give the club some room to maneuver, to enable it to strengthen the squad during the winter.
Westerlo is looking for his replacement… at Club Brugge
To replace him, Westerlo seems to be turning to Kyriani Sabbe from Club Brugge. The young defender has already been sounded out, but so far he does not seem inclined to join Campine. Sabbe currently plays little in Venice of the North, but is in no hurry to leave.
In addition, information was requested by Westerlo on Hugo Siquet, also from Club Brugge. But for everything to be unlocked, Sparta will have to agree to pay the amount claimed by Westerlo.
