1-Extension of Screws Service in Parcé-sur-Sarthe

2-Reopening of multi-commerce in Bailleul

3-EU area for motorhomes inaugurated

In Précigné, a parking area for motorhomes now replaces the campsite which was closed by Jean-François Zalesny at the start of his first term as mayor.

“The sanitary facilities had not been maintained and work would have had to be done even though this type of campsite no longer attracts vacationers who prefer five stars,” explained the mayor during the inauguration.

The latter took place on May 7. It’s the company Camping-Car Park which takes care of the management and promotion of the area and had asked the municipality to develop it. 18 emplacements were demarcated.

4-The Relais de Louailles changes hands

The Relais de Louailles changed owners at the beginning of May. After 15 years at the head of the establishment, Isabelle and Franck Cherruau decided to hand over.

It was David and Sabrina Sabioli who took over the business (hotel, restaurant, bar, tobacconist, FDJ), particularly popular with truck drivers and local businesses.

It’s a professional change for the couple from La Flèche. He was a truck driver for eight years. She was store manager for ten years Chausseahas Sand then to The Arrow.

The new owners changed the sign and started building a terrace. This new tool must offer an additional capacity of 30 place settings.

Theme evenings are organized on certain weekends. “We want to bring life to the town,” explained David Sabioli at the time of the opening.

5- Jérémy Boivin at the head of Parcéennes Ambulances

Nadine Madiotboss of Parcéenne Ambulances for 17 years, officially handed over to Jérémy Boivin on Saturday June 1st.

6-In Avoise, the Guinguette is taken over

7-A festival dedicated to Marcel Pagnol

It was one of the events of the year in Sabolian Country. At the Ignières millin Parcé-sur-Sarthe, on September 14 and 15, everything came together for a particularly successful festive moment, with the presence of grandsons of Marcel Pagnol and Fernandel.

With a perfect organization of the heritage association, the warm welcome of the hosts of the place, Sandy and Alexandre Lemaireand sunny weather.

8-Closure of the l’Œil campsite in the Retro

The news broke on Thursday October 10, 2024. Jean-Michel Loison announced on social networks that it will permanently close the doors of its campsite l’Œil dans le Rétro, opened in 2014, in Avoise.

A few months ago, Jean-Michel Loison had reported a significant drop in attendance in 2023. He hoped to rectify the situation in 2024. But obviously, the campsite manager did not succeed.

The unique concept of this open-air establishment had attracted the interest of television channels. TF1 and 2 notably came to film a report.

The campsite belongs to the commune of Avoise. The municipality must therefore work on the future of the site.

9-A prize pool launched after a house fire

A house was completely destroyed by a fire, at Bailleulin the evening of Saturday November 2.

Despite the presence of 25 firefighters, the house located at the place called Les Chauvraies was completely ravaged by flames.

The farmhouse whose renovation was completed after four years of work went up in smoke.

The young couple owners, who were absent when the fire broke out, have to rebuild everything. To help Justine and Alexis“totally destitute”, a solidarity kitty called “ Burnt house : let’s help them get back up” was created on Leetchi.

The outpouring of solidarity worked since 237 dons were listed in the prize pool.9 000 euros were hoped to cover certain expenses, including housing, furniture, food and clothing.

10-Death of Patrick Sailly, former mayor of Précigné

Patrick Sailly was mayor of and Précignéfrom 2001 to 2008. He died at the age of 77, Friday November 15, 2024.

Professionally Patrick Sailly worked in the insurance industry. He also created several companies.

Elected mayor in 2001Patrick Sailly worked on the extension and renovation of the town hall but also on the construction of three classrooms.

He also ran for municipal elections in 2008 et 2014 . But this time, with less success. He was beaten by Francis PlotThen Jean-François Zalesny.

11-Michel Rousselin, a figure in the associative world, has left us

Michel Rousselinresident of Parcé-sur-Sarthedied at the age of 62, on Sunday November 24 . He’s a true sports fan and a wonderful volunteer who goes out there.

Michel Rousselin was very involved in the sports association fabric of the town. He joined the football club of Because at the age of six.

The man was also present when the table tennis club was established and has been playing there ever since. He considered these two clubs as his “second family”.
