If some escaped it at the start of the course, all the Anjou Vélo Vintage participants encountered at least once the path of stormy showers this Saturday, June 29, 2024, on the roads of Saumurois (Maine-et-Loire). Despite this somewhat capricious weather, the collective pleasure of sharing this 12th edition of AVV was there. A communicative happiness and a moment out of time, which is good to observe.

This Saturday, June 29, 2024 in Saumur (Maine-et-Loire), a little over 4,000 cyclists got on their retro bicycles for the 12th edition of Anjou Vélo Vintage. There will be even more of them on Sunday. Gapettes screwed on the head, elegant polka dot dresses, more than adjusted straps have for many been hidden under ponchos and other raincoats taken out in panic.
