Relegated to National 3, the En Avant Guingamp reserve team is not idle this summer. Under the leadership of its new coach, Jean-Baptiste Le Bescond, also named director of the training center, “la B” of En Avant is recruiting five elements.

Starting with central defender Jason Ngouabi. A young hopeful from Caen, he experienced Ligue 2 at the age of 17. Aged 21, he arrives from Cholet, where he played most of the matches last season.

Hugo Barbier, 19, arrives from the Le Havre reserve and plays in midfield. Just like Youssef N’Joyangapout, trained in Saint-Étienne. The 20-year-old also plays in the midfield.

Up front, the club has brought in two players. A winger, Adrien Delphis, who is coming off a great season in N3 at Belfort (26 matches, 11 goals) after training at Sochaux. Finally, and he will be one of the curiosities on the reserve side, a striker, Tieri Godame arrives from Challans, where he had a great season (16 goals in 26 matches). Above all, he is a Central African international. At 21, he will be one of the players to watch on the Akademi side, which recruited young players this summer. In the hope, also, of seeing some of them reveal themselves and come and strike at the level above.
