In this eighth round of the 2024 season, it is once again Jorge Martin who presents himself as leader of the world championship. But on the Assen circuit, “the cathedral of speed”, Francesco Bagnaia is almost at home, as he has dominated the track in recent editions. It was in 2022, during his first world championship title, that the Ducati rider had relaunched the race with Fabio Quartararo.
