Pascal Dupraz very close to a big stable!

Pascal Dupraz, a well-known face to football fans in France, could soon be arriving in the Algerian championship!

While he has not coached since the 2022-2023 season (only 9 matches), a season during which he failed to save Dijon from relegation to the National, the third tier of French football, Pascal Dupraz is preparing to bounce back. The 61-year-old is reportedly about to sign with USM Alger, as our colleagues at The Gazette du Fennec.

The Savoyard would thus succeed the coach Spanish
Juan Carlos Garrido on the USMA bench, 4th in the last championship and qualified for the next CAF Cup. This would be his first experience abroad. Both in his first life, that of an attacker, and his second, that of a coach, the native of Annemasse has always worked his way to the four corners of France.

A coach capable of uniting

Professional player in D1 and D2 in the 1980s until the beginning of the 1990s (FC Sochaux-Montbéliard, CS Thonon, Brest Armorique, FC Mulhouse, SC Toulon and Gueugnon), Dupraz began coaching in 1993, at the age 29 years old. He officiated at the regional and semi-pro level between 1993 and 2009 before taking charge of training courses Ligue
1
: Evian Thonon Gaillard (2012-2015) with whom he reached the final of the Coupe de France in 2013, Toulouse (2015-2018) and Saint-Etienne (2021-2022). He also knows Ligue 2 thanks to his time at Caen (2019-2021) and Dijon (2022-2023). A strong coach capable of uniting, Pascal Dupraz is a charismatic coach whose personality does not leave one indifferent.
