The transfer of FC Metz striker Georges Mikautadze to AS Monaco is reportedly on track but there is still no agreement between the parties.
After a thunderous second half of the season with the FC Metz and a qualification for the round of 16 of the Euro with Georgia, Georges Mikautadze is causing a stir in the transfer window in Ligue 1. Indeed, according to information from Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, theAS Monaco would have reached an agreement with the top scorer of Euro 2024 and would have entered into negotiations with FC Metz for the terms of the transfer. Information however denied in the wake by Foot Mercato which affirms that no agreement has been reached for the moment between Monaco and Georges Mikautadze.
Apart from ASM, other Ligue 1 teams remain interested in the Georgian international. RC Lensthe Rennais Stadiuml’ABOUT as well as theOlympic Lyon would closely monitor the situation of Georges Mikautadze. As a reminder, the player wants to stay in Ligue 1 next season and excludes a departure abroad. In view of his recent performances in the selection, we can imagine that the stock of the Lyon native should still climb.
