Game formula:
The scramble electic formula consists of each player playing their shot from the starting point, then the team chooses the best ball. All players on the team then play their second shot from where the chosen ball was struck. This process repeats for each shot, until the ball is in the hole.
This competition format is ideal for golfers of all levels, as it allows less experienced players to benefit from the skills of more seasoned players. In addition, it adds a dimension of conviviality and team spirit to the competition, which makes the event even more memorable.
— The rules of the competition
The tournament consists of 36 holes played according to the scramble electic formula, over two days.
Each team is made up of two players, the choice of teammate is made at the time of registration. Both players must complete the form to validate their participation.
There is no handicap limit, but three quarters of the index will be returned with a maximum of 18.
Departures will be made simultaneously on all holes on the course, using a shotgun.
Team rankings will be based on net score rather than gross score. In the event of a tie at the end of the two rounds, the tie-breaker will be based on the results of the second day of competition.
The physical presence of the winners is mandatory to receive their prize. If a winning team is absent, its prize will be awarded by drawing lots among the other teams.
The name of the net winning team will be inscribed on the Morocco Golf Cup trophy.
The starting markers will be yellow for male players, blue for male players over 70 years old, and red for female players.
