Five years after leaving FC Barcelona, Atlas Lion Khalid Bouzid will return to the Blaugranas for the next two seasons
Having triggered an option to recover the contract of its former Moroccan player Khalid Bouzid who played for Santa Coloma, Barça will benefit from the services of the Moroccan international from next season.
“Barça have confirmed the return of their former player Khalid Bouzid (26 years old) to strengthen the squad for next season. The Moroccan international has signed a contract that runs until 2026,” says Mundo Deportivo.
Khalid Bouzid left Barcelona’s reserve team 5 years ago. He was Spanish Under-19 champion (2015 and 2017) and won a Second Division League (2016-17). He established himself as one of the leaders of the Colombo team.
Furthermore, Khalid Bouzid remains one of Hicham Dguig’s key men. He has already played in the World Cup with the Atlas Lions (Lithuania 2021) and is on the list of players of the national team that is preparing to play in the World Cup scheduled for September 14 and October 6, 2024 in Uzbekistan.
The components of the national team currently training at the Mohammed VI football complex, celebrated the transfer of Bouzid to the Catalan club.
