This Tuesday, FC Metz officially announced the departure of three players. Arriving from Hatayspor at the end of the last winter transfer window, Didier Lamkel Zé leaves the Moselle.
For the 2023-2024 season, the Bertoua native was on loan for the second time, wearing the Metz jersey. During his 12 appearances, Didier Lamkel Zé managed to score once, against FC Lorient in Saint-Symphorien.
Other departure: Warren Tchimbembe. Having arrived in Moselle in the summer of 2020, he will no longer wear the garnet jersey. Indeed, the midfielder’s contract has come to an end.
The native of Gonesse will therefore have stayed four seasons on the banks of the Moselle. During his time there, the Congolese international will have played 26 matches with FC Metz and also experienced two loans, to Mirandès (2021-2022) then to Guingamp (2022-2023).
Sami Lahssaini also leaves FC Metz. In Moselle since the summer of 2019, the midfielder has reached the end of his contract.
In five seasons, the Liège native will never have had the opportunity to wear the Metz jersey. Trained at RFC Seraing, he had been loaned for three seasons to the partner club Grenat (2020 to 2023) and is coming off a new loan to RAAL La Louvière, a club with which he has just experienced promotion to the Belgian second division.
Good luck Didier, Warren and Sami!
