The sad end of Gabriel Moscardo’s adventure at Corinthians before landing at PSG

For his last match at Corinthians, young Gabriel Moscardo remained on the bench last night. Loaned by PSG since January, he will return to Paris in the days to come. His last in his training club will not leave him with fond memories.

Gabriel Moscardo is no longer a Corinthians player, and perhaps it’s for the best. On the night of Wednesday to Thursday, the defensive midfielder remained on the bench and did not have a single minute of play for his last match with the Brazilian club. The Parisian player ends this adventure with his training club on a salty note. At 22, the midfielder hopes to find his happiness when training resumes at PSG on July 15.

Luis Enrique could start him during the pre-season, so that he can get his feelings back, even though he played in the derby against São Paulo on June 16. A match in which he gave up his place at half-time. As a reminder, Moscardo suffered a serious injury in January, which also explains his little playing time since then.

Gabriel Moscardo could have played one last match against Palmeiras on June 29, but this derby was finally postponed by two days and will be played on July 1 at 8 p.m. Unfortunately for Moscardo, his loan will have ended the day before. He will therefore not play this important match.

The new Parisian will therefore no longer play in Brazil, and should arrive in France shortly, with only 80 minutes on the pitch in the last six months. It’s up to Luis Enrique, now, to put it back in order to discover the potential of this highly anticipated player in the French capital.
