Moroccan international Munir El Kajoui, currently at the end of his contract with the Saudi club Al Wehda, is attracting the interest of Renaissance Berkane. The 35-year-old goalkeeper announced last week that his next destination will be revealed this month.

After a rich career of ten years in Spain, followed by two years in Turkey and two others in Saudi Arabia, Munir El Kajoui could finally play in the country he has represented since 2015. According to information from Hesport, the Moroccan is in discussions progressed with Renaissance Berkane for a transfer this summer.

The leaders of the Oranges have already started official negotiations with the entourage of the 35-year-old goalkeeper during the last Atlas Lions gathering in June. However, no final decision has yet been made by the player and his agent.

Besides RSB, other clubs in Turkey and Saudi Arabia, notably Al-Okhdoud, are also showing interest in El Kajoui.

Wydad Casablanca is also mentioned as a potential candidate, although the club has not yet made an official approach. “We have not received any official approach from Wydad until now. There may be interest, but there is no such thing as what is not official,” a source told Hesport.
