A major Premier League club is showing strong interest in a PSG flop.
The summer transfer window has continued in France since its official opening on June 10. While all of Europe is focused on Euro 2024, French clubs, for their part, continue to discreetly shop the transfer market. This is particularly the case for Paris Saint-Germain which should register several recruits this summer. At the same time, the capital club will have to release some of its players. That’s good since a Premier League leader is making eyes at a PSG flop.
PSG has not finished cleaning up
It’s no longer a secret that the PSG transfer window will be very hectic this summer. The Parisian club must, in fact, recruit during this transfer window to compensate for the departure of Kylian Mbappé and many other players. In addition to the Bondynois, who declared war on the club, Paris also let go of elements like Keylor Navas, Alexandre Letellier and Layvin Kurzawa who also emptied his bag last Sunday.
But if things are not yet moving enough in the direction of arrivals with only the signing of Matvey Safonov, PSG has not yet finished releasing players. Next on the list should be Manuel Ugarte.

Manuel Ugarte in the sights of Manchester United
Arriving in the summer of 2023 from Sporting Lisbon, Manuel Ugarte had a good first part of the season. But the Uruguayan midfielder disappeared from the radar during the return phase and was overtaken in the hierarchy by Vitinha and Fabian Ruiz. Relegated by Luis Enrique, Manuel Ugarte could find playing time in the Premier League and mainly at Manchester United.
According to L’Equipe, the Mancunian club has even already made a first offer, rejected by PSG which is not, however, against a departure of the Uruguayan international. Valued at 45 million euros, Manuel Ugarte would be on the shelves of another English club, a German team as well as Juventus, which has been following him for several weeks.
