Convincing during his debut, Manuel Ugarte saw his status change as the season progressed at PSG, until he was used very little by Luis Enrique. So much so that just one year after his arrival, the Uruguay international could already leave, but not at any price, since the capital club would have refused an offer for their player.
Recruited against €60M last year from Sporting Portugal, Manuel Ugarte had made a successful debut at PSGbefore gradually leaving the plans of Luis Enrique. As proof, the Spanish technician did not use it at all in the semi-final of the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund.
Manchester United move into action for Ugarte
Only a year after his arrival, the PSG does not seem opposed to a departure from Manuel Ugarte this summer. According to information from Sky Sports, Manchester United would be interested in the Uruguayan international (16 caps), under contract until June 2028 with the capital club.
Offer refused by PSG
What confirms The Teamwho adds, however, that the PSG would have refused the offer of Manchester Unitedthe amount of which has not been revealed. Sky Sports specifies that the Parisian management quickly rejected this offer, too far from their expectations. Manuel Ugarte would in any case have other suitors in addition to Red Devils.
