Seed No. 1, Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard will challenge another Blue, Ugo Blanchet, 155th in the ATP. Two other derbies will take place with a clash between Luca Van Assche (n°6) and Calvin Hémerybeaten in the final on Saturday at Blois. Be careful, if Andy Murray withdraws from the Championships before the start of the qualifiers, the Parisian will avoid this event… The last Franco-French poster will oppose Grégoire Barrère (n°7) to Quentin Halys.

Gaston, Gasquet, Couacaud, Tabur…

Chance did things well… or not. Of the 24 French people involved, 20 are in the upper part of the table. Among the players expected at the turn, Hugo Gaston (n°2) will challenge the Japanese Shintaro Mochizuki (588th in the ATP). For his second qualifiers – after 2004 -, Richard Gasquet pulled the local Oliver Crawford (219th). He will face him on Court 1. Some were less lucky, however. Seeded No. 22, Harold Mayot will face the Czech Jiri Veselyex top 50 and eighth finalist in 2018. Enzo Couacaudhe will struggle with the Chilean Cristian Garin (n°12), former top 20. And what about Clement Tabur, who for his first participation, will challenge the Croatian nugget Dino Prizmicmore comfortable on ocher but also dangerous.

Escoffier, Herbert, Atmane, Jacquet…

Antoine Escoffier will face the Argentinian Genaro Alberto Olivieriwhile Maxime Janvier will challenge Yu-hsiou Hsu. Recent semi-final in Ilkley, Benjamin Bonzi will face the British local Ryan Peniston. Watch out for the trap. The South Korean Seongchan Hong will be the adversary of Pierre-Hugues Herbert. The Chinese Yunchaokete Bu will try to contain Térence Atmane (No. 23). For his part, the Lyonnais Kyrian Jacquet will play the No. 29 seed, the Italian Matteo Gigante.
