An immense accomplishment that hung by a thread on hole number 18. In a delicate position after a drive dropped to the left, a short green attack and a medium approach, Young left himself a 3-meter putt for par (video) and a map of 59.

With his exceptional performance, the 27-year-old becomes the 13th player in the history of PGA Tour to return a card under 60, the first since Scottie Scheffler in 2020 at Nothern Trust Open.
