Denmark faced Slovenia this Sunday. The Danes were held in check (1-1).

After the Netherlands’ victory this Sunday against Poland (1-2), it’s time for the second meeting of the day.

This was the first meeting of Group C, between Denmark and Slovenia. The start of the match is also to the advantage of the Danes. Denmark pushes, but Slovenia has weapons, with the nugget Benjamin Sesko which hits just wide (16th).

In the process, Denmark takes the lead thanks to its number 10 Christian Eriksen who deceives Oblak with a nice volley (0-1, 17th). A superb story for the man who collapsed on the pitch during Euro 2021 following a heart attack.

The Danish Dynamite manages the rest of its first half well and even has the opportunity to make it 0-2 via the same Eriksen.

In the second half, teammates Kasper Schmeichel (Anderlecht) are not really worried. Oblak saves in front Hojlund (65th). A bit out of nowhere, Slovenia wakes up and starts to believe it. With a terrible shot, Sesko hits the post (76th).

Slovenia finally manages to equalize with a deflected shot from Janza (1-1, 77th). Despite Anderlecht’s entries into the game Dolberg And DelaneyDenmark is held in check.

This is the first draw of this Euro. Denmark loses two points and finds itself in a bad position before Serbia – England.
