New revelations were released by L’Equipe this Friday, concerning the release in Sweden of Kylian Mbappé. The Real Madrid striker would have spent a tidy sum.
In the turmoil since the start of the “Stockholm affair”, where a complaint for rape allegedly targets him, the daily L’Equipe reveals this Friday the amount that Kylian Mbappé would have spent there during his Swedish trip. According to estimates given by the newspaper, the bill would be around 100,000 euros, spent in five days.
An amount estimated by an airline pilot with all the journeys of the former PSG striker with his private jet, an Embraer Legacy 550 (operated by the Maltese company Luxaviation) and immobilization in several airports. In a few days, the Real Madrid player would have traveled 6,600 kilometers and would have consumed 25 tonnes of CO2 in carbon footprint.
Kylian Mbappé not affected
And this amount does not take into account other expenses. The Swedish media explained that to privatize the “ping-pong room” of club V, “Kyk’s” would have spent around 43,000 euros. Without forgetting the 1,750 euros in tips distributed.
This Friday, Carlo Ancelotti, his coach at Real, spoke about the situation. “On days off, I believe everyone can do what they want. He does not need to ask permission from anyone, explained the Italian technician. I went to London on my free day. I also don’t have a travel agency to organize the players’ trips.”
Concerning a possible demobilization of the Frenchman after this affair, Ancelotti indicated that he had not noticed any change. “I speak with the players every day. For now this is speculation. I see the player every day, he is very good, very happy, I don’t see him affected. He really wants to help the team,” he assured.
