Leverkusen and Dortmund falter, Bayern rubs their hands – Bundesliga – J6

Leverkusen 2-2 Holstein Kiel

Buts : Boniface (4e) & Hofmann (8e) for Leverkusen // Geschwill (45e+5) & Arp (69e) for Kiel

A waste.

Leverkusen let slip a victory that stretched out its arms, this Saturday against Kiel (2-2). After six days, Leverkusen has only three victories and is in fifth place.

The German champion quickly marked his territory thanks to Victor Boniface, from the left (1-0, 4e)and Jonas Hofmann, of law (2-0, 8e). Max Geschwill nevertheless scored the goal of hope before half-time (2-1, 45e+5). The red lantern even managed to equalize following the clumsy intervention of Jeremie Frimpong, Jann-Fiete Arp transforming his penalty with authority (2-2, 69e). Jostled, the locals escaped the worst when Lukáš Hrádecký slammed Benedikt Pichler’s head above his cage (73e). The observation nevertheless remains bitter for Xabi Alonso’s men, held by a team which had only taken one point until then.

The people of will still enjoy themselves on October 23.

Buts : Vogt (26e S.P.) & Vertessen (45e) pour l’Union // Ryerson (62e) for Borussia

Not one to catch up with the other.

Like Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund missed a great opportunity to recover, falling to Berlin (2-1). The addition is steep for the BvB, now seventh: two places lost in the standings and potentially six points behind leader Bayern.

The Union logically took the lead in this meeting. Nico Schlotterbeck was surprised by Benedict Hollerbach and conceded a penalty: Kevin Vogt did not shirk and ended ten years without a goal (1-0, 26e). Yorbe Vertessen took advantage of a poorly cleared ball to drive the point home in a recovery full of spontaneity (2-0, 45e). Julian Ryerson shook his former club by closing the gap (2-1, 62e)but Dortmund never managed to equalize.

Everyone came together to give Harry Kane a first title, right?
