Finding a solution for childcare for young children can be complicated. In Ménéac (Morbihan), the opening of a micro-crèche should make it possible to meet a certain need.

Born in the north of France in 2005, the company Rigolo comme la Vie is behind this project. “The group’s first crèche opened in Roubaix,” recontextualizes Anne Chebaut, development manager for Brittany.

The group from the north of France arrives in Brittany

Over the years, meetings and opportunities have allowed the network to grow. Today, the group is responsible for the management of “a little more than 60 nurseries and micro-crèches”, says the development manager. “We are very present in Hauts-de-France,” she explains.

Since 2022, the ÏDKIDS group brand has been established in Brittany, mainly in Ille-et-Vilaine. “To date, we have six structures in Brittany. With the projects in progress, we will quickly reach 10,” says Anne Chebaut.

An important project for the municipality

The year 2025 will be marked by the opening of the first establishment managed by Rigolo comme la Vie in Morbihan. The company, which wishes to offer a “qualitative reception method”, responded to a call for tenders relating to a project in the town of Ménéac. “There is a desire from the mayor of the commune, Michel Pichard, to have a micro-crèche in the commune. It’s an important project,” explains Anne Chebaut.

Noting a deficit of childcare in the commune, the municipality of Ménéac had expressed a wish to the Ploërmel community to have a crèche with 10 to 12 places to meet the needs of families.

A subject raised by Michel Pichard on the occasion of the inauguration of the after-school center. “We are going to begin the construction of a crèche next to the new after-school center,” he announced at the time.

An opening hoped for in September 2025

To meet existing needs, a micro-nursery twelve cradles will open its doors. “Nine cradles are reserved by Ploërmel community. It is important to be supported by the intercommunity for an opening,” specifies Anne Chebout. The others can be reserved by companies in Ménéac and the surrounding area.

A cradle does not equal a family. Potentially, nine cradles represent 18 families. Our goal is to cater to as many families as possible.

If the opening is hoped for in September 2025no timetable has yet been decided. “At the moment, we are at the very beginning of the project. The design has not started, it is currently being considered,” explains the development manager in Brittany.

Hand in hand work between the actors

The company Rigolo comme la Vie works hand in hand with the town hall and for the community of municipalities for the successful completion of this project. A project which could “be oriented towards the outdoors”, according to Anne Chebout.

We are there to support the design. Our mission is to carry out the arrangement and recruitment.

For the proper functioning of the micro-crèche, “between four and five people will be recruited,” informs the development manager. Recruitment is planned in February or March 2025.
