The sixth day of D1B delivered its first verdicts. With in particular the victory of the RWDM among the Francs Borains.

The fans made it known what they thought of these two matches on Friday at 8 p.m. The Challenger Pro League once again got the ball rolling with two simultaneous matches.

Among the Borain Francs, the RWDM (co-leader with RAAL) opened the scoring from a corner, Piotr Parzyszek taking a back ball shortly before the half-hour mark. But Yannick Ferrera’s men did not maintain their advantage for long.

Five minutes later, Dorian Dessoleil launched Mondy Prunier with an energetic tackle. The Haitian attacker launched Alessio Curci towards clear equalization. The score remained 1-1 for a long time but Gaëtan Robail ended up delivering the visitors in the last quarter of an hour.

Eupen was hot

The RWDM therefore takes a three-point lead over the RAAL before the Wolves’ match against Lokeren, while the Francs Borains remain a stone’s throw from the red zone.

In the other match of the evening, Eupen ended its streak of four games without a victory in D1B. The Pandas nevertheless conceded the opening score on the hour mark against the Genk U23s. But Yentl Van Genechten (67th) and Emrehan Gediki (71st) put the team back on track in quick succession. Bertan Caliskan even secured three precious points in the last minutes (3-1).
