Guingamp. A village dedicated to football with internet celebrities

For the second year in a rowthe ephemeral village Football Squareorganized by the Professional Football Leaguewill settle in the cities of Ligue 2 clubs.

L’Forward Guingamp is among the seven clubs participating in this edition. For the first time, the village will set down its suitcases Place du Vally has Guingamp (Côtes-d’Armor) Tuesday April 30 of 12 p.m. to 7 p.m..

Present with seven Ligue 2 clubs this year, the tour will end in Guingamp.

A free village for all audiences

The event will offer numerous activities and entertainment for football fans, whether licensed or not.

“This ephemeral village is aimed at all young Costa Ricans,” says Franck Gérard, the sales director of En Avant Guingamp.

Young visitors will be able to have fun with different football challenges. “The goal of the event is to make people want to come to the stadium and play sport,” explains Christophe Gautier, communications manager at En Avant.

Of the 4 vs 4 matches in an inflatable area, precision shots or even a technical course will be on the program.

A EA FC24 tournament will also take place during the day in the same way as the “Guess the score” game for the match against Saint-Étienne.

500 places to be won

In total, 500 places for the Ligue 2 match against Saint-Étienne will be up for grabs. Subscriptions, Balloons or even goodies bearing the image of En Avant Guingamp will also be offered.

Five players of the professional team will come to meet the public to indulge in a signing and photo session.

The event was successful during the other stages of the tour, enthusiasm should be there at the Place du Vally.

“The other cities welcomed between 2000 and 3000 young people. Given that we are a land of football, we hope to do better in Guingamp,” enthuses Franck Gérard.

With famous YouTubers

The event reserved for young people pulled out all the stops to invite them to participate in the event.

In this sense, the food truck of Valouzz and Pocavery well known among young people, will be there to sell “Burgouzz” (burgers).

The YouTubers of Today it’s Football will also participate in the entertainment of the village. Tom and Lucas are followed by a community of more than 720,000 subscribers thanks to their football content.

A culinary challenge with Chunky Cook will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. Constancy (Chunky Cooker) has 2.4 million subscribers on TikTok and great popularity among young people thanks to its Food content.

The party promises to be beautiful on the Place du Vally in Guingamp on April 30. “We want to show that it is possible to meet on very positive things and show our common love for our sport,” concludes Christophe Gautier.
