Chloé Landra, aka MUSA, will travel to Sweden for the final of the Jeunesses Musicales (JM) Imagine springboard this Thursday, May 9. An XXL opportunity for the young Corrézienne.

A dream comes true. Chloé Landra, aka MUSA, will represent France at the Imagine springboard final in Sweden from Thursday May 9 to Saturday May 11.

Originally from the small village of Saint-Augustin in Corrèze, the 18-year-old girl did not imagine such a journey. Chloé began playing piano at the Tulle Conservatory at the age of six. Little by little, she moved towards current music, and played in different groups such as Les Ondes Vagabondes and NVR&ING.

A registration that changes everything

The Corrézienne’s passion for music takes an important place in her life. So much so that she decided to register for the 2023 edition of the Nouveau Festival, an event organized by the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region to highlight the talents of high school students and apprentices.

After an appreciated performance at the Rocher de Palmer in Cenon (near Bordeaux), MUSA is spotted to represent the region in Paris for the national final of the Imagine France springboard in November 2023. This is an international event to showcase the amateur musicians aged 13 to 21.

From Corrèze to Sweden

The young Corrézienne manages to make the difference among five other candidates in the capital. Result: Chloé Landra is chosen to represent France in Uppsala, a city north of the Swedish capital. “At the time, I was a little surprised,” she says. “Between the tears and the joy, my emotions were quite mixed!”

A huge opportunity for Saint-Augustinoise. “It’s incredible,” she rejoices. “I can’t even believe it. It will surely be a good experience for me. I’ll be able to discover new artists, I can’t wait.”

Today, Chloé dreams of being able to make a living from her passion. Following her time in Northern Europe, the English degree student hopes to gain visibility.
