Present at a press conference on Saturday, Luis Enrique was questioned about the PSG project, which has evolved in recent months. The Spanish technician seems delighted and is even enthusiastic about the “great players” he has in his squad or who will arrive later.
Since summer 2023, the PSG has adopted a major shift in its project. No more recruitment of stars without counting, now room for a project based on the development of young players under the leadership of Luis Enrique who has already advanced several talents like Vitinha, Warren Zaire-Emery, João Neves, Bradley Barcola or even Désiré Doué. This is the reason why the Spanish technician does not hide his joy at being at the heart of such a project for a year and a half.
Luis Enrique welcomes PSG project
« The club's project suits me, it does not change. We are counting on great players. We have a player model that is clear. You have to have good players, but also win titles. The club's policy is to train young players and give them confidence. There has been a change in mentality, to see if we can one day win the Champions League, in the next decade, whether with or without me. », he confided at a press conference before looking ahead to the second half of the season with ambition.
