Why Chotard could finally be suspended against OL

It is up to the FFF, and not the LFP, to decide

Indeed, since this confrontation took place within the framework of a competition organized by the French Football Federation, it is up to it, and its disciplinary committee, to decide on the fate of the 23-year-old footballer. However, unlike its counterpart in the League, it does not make its decisions public, only the clubs are informed.

Officially, nothing has leaked yet, but it seems that the commission met last Thursday, since it imposed a seven-match suspension on Mustapha Benzia (FC Rouen). Logically, she had to look into Chotard's case during this same meeting, and therefore suspend him for a meeting starting Monday evening, as required by the regulations.
