At the end of their “legal” mandate, the College of the Telecommunications and Postal Regulatory Authority (Artp), headed by Abou Abel Thiam, is leaving… on January 9. “We, Mr. Abou Abel Thiam, president of the College of the Telecommunications and Postal Regulatory Authority (Artp), and my colleagues Professor Modi Coumba Gadiaga, Mr. Amadou Ly, Ms. Ada Hagne Dia and Ms. Arame Ndoye Thiam, inform of the end of our mandates at the College of Artp on January 9, 2025. In this case, we give thanks to Allah and reiterate our prayers for the rest of the soul of the late Doudou Guèye, our colleague torn from our affection during his mandate,” the college announced in a press release.
For them, it is the end of an era. “We would also like to salute the frank collaboration in compliance with the laws governing the Independent Administrative Authority (Aai) that is the Artp, of all the successive directors general, the former and the current, all the staff of Artp; the successive directors at the head of telephone operators and their collaborators, as well as all those involved in the telecommunications ecosystem. We wish every success to our successors and to the relay cohort, for the continuation of the work of regulation”, underlines Abou Abel Thiam in a press release.
