While Imadtintin will be tried this Monday afternoon in Grenoble, and other Algerian influencers have been arrested for calls for murders launched on social networks, two Lyonnais also find themselves in the sights of the authorities.
Lyon whistleblower Chawki Benzehra, who denounced Imadtintin, found two other individuals posting disturbing videos.
They are Abdesslam “Bazooka” and Laksas06.
The first is filmed in a car in which he warns that Algerians will fight to remain Muslim: “Do you imagine that we are going to let the unbelievers come to Algeria? (…) I swear by Allah that our knife will cut you. We the people, we will slit your throats”.
The second is on a train, face partially hidden, repeating the speech of another influencer on “sleeping soldiers” ready to fight against “the one that affects our country (Algeria, editor’s note)”.
On social networks, the Rhône prefecture confirms having reported to the competent authorities “several influencers calling for hatred or violence in videos posted on Tik Tok”.
