Next April, Clermont Auvergne Opéra will return to its International Singing Competition in which 330 artists are registered. The association is currently looking for 10 young people to constitute the jury for the Young Audience Prize – City of Clermont-Ferrand.

In 2025, Clermont Auvergne Opéra will return to its famous international singing competition. The 28th edition will take place in Clermont from April 8 to 12.
Residents from all four corners of the world, 330 artists submitted their applications, representing 44 different nationalities. The competition will honor Purcell’s only opera, Dido and Æneasin a baroque ensemble production of Les Surprises, Handel’s most famous oratorio, There Messiah new production of the Opera as well as a Piano – Voice Duo around lieder and French melodies.

10 young people to form a jury for the Singing Competition

Clermont Auvergne Opéra is currently working on setting up a Young Audience jury for the International Singing Competition. It will bring together 10 members, aged 10 to 27, whose mission will be to select a soloist competing in the final on April 12 at the Opera for the Young Audience Prize – City of Clermont-Ferrand.
Young people who wish to become a member of this jury can send their application in the form of a cover letter to Rachel Zatla, responsible for cultural action at Clermont Auvergne Opéra: mediation@clermont-auvergne-opera.com
