Cost optimization: ERA Group raises awareness among Moroccan industrialists

ERA Group, world leader in cost optimization, marked its first year in Morocco with the launch of a series of meetings intended for Moroccan industrialists and managers. These discussions aim to raise awareness of the issues related to the optimization of supply chains, emphasizing their impact on the profitability and competitiveness of companies.

First round table in Fez

The first round table was held on December 19 in Fez, bringing together around thirty local industrialists and around ten national and international experts, including those from ERA Spain and Morocco. The event, centered on the theme of “optimization and management of the supply chain”, was hosted by specialists such as Éric Mass, director of purchasing and supply chain, and Yassine Adib, expert in logistics management.

In a rapidly changing economic and geopolitical environment, businesses face increasing pressures on supply chains, heightened by new global trade policies. These constraints are particularly visible in the Fez region, where manufacturers are still waiting for the finalization of structuring projects such as a logistics zone or a dry port.

During the roundtable, experts highlighted the opportunities that emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence and process digitalization, offer to improve logistics efficiency and decision-making.

Objectives of the ERA Group initiative

Achraf Bouqdib, Country Manager of ERA Group Morocco, underlined the importance of this approach: “Our ambition is to create a space for exchange to help manufacturers optimize their costs, improve their profitability and develop sustainable strategies.” According to him, intelligent management of expenses and suppliers can transform cost optimization into a real lever for long-term growth.

ERA Group plans to organize similar round tables in other regions of Morocco in order to continue its awareness and support efforts. These initiatives aim to consolidate the foundations of optimized and sustainable logistics management, essential for the development of Moroccan businesses in a constantly changing global context.
