Some delays were to be deplored on Saturday morning for certain flights both departing and arriving at Brussels-National airport, due to weather conditions. The situation is improving and should return to normal by 1:00 p.m., according to a spokesperson for Brussels Airport.
Delays recorded range from half an hour to an hour. It is especially arriving flights that are most affected. For departures, the delay depends mainly on the weather conditions at the destination airport.
The Royal Meteorological Institute has issued a yellow warning for fog. This is in force until midday in Flanders, Brussels and Walloon Brabant.
Other countries are also affected. Thus, at Schiphol airport in the Netherlands, around ten flights were canceled on Saturday morning.
