“Mathieu has very sore ribs because of his fall in Loenhout where he hit a pole. The pain has worsened in recent days and after consulting the medical team, Mathieu made the decision this morning not to start in Baal. We will closely monitor his recovery to determine if he can participate in Friday’s race in Koksijde.”
