Around 18,000 homes are still without electricity in France, mainly in Normandy and the Loire" rel="tag">Pays de la Loire, announced the electricity network manager Enedis. “More than 85% of customers who had been deprived of electricity have been restored”underlines Enedis.
The number of homes without electricity, which had risen “up to 270,000 during the night from Thursday to Friday”was only 75,000 Friday evening, according to a previous report. On Saturday, at 6 p.m., the regions most affected by power outages remained “Normandy (9,000) and Pays de Loire (7 500)”according to Enedis.
“95% of customers who had been deprived of electricity will be replenished by Enedis teams by this evening in accordance with our objective”assures the network manager. The company had mobilized in advance 2,200 of its technicians and 400 service providers. “All of our teams and those of our service providers remain mobilized and Enedis aims to resupply all customers by Sunday evening”says Enedis.
