This amended contract applies to foreign military sales for several countries, including the Kingdom of Morocco, Bahrain, Bulgaria, Slovakia and the Taiwan Air Force. Upon contract award, FMS funds in the amount of $152,700,000 were obligated, bringing the total cumulative face value of the contract to $897,400,000. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, based at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is overseeing this contract.

The latter embodies Morocco’s commitment to modernizing its air defense capabilities. Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, based in Fort Worth, Texas, received a contract modification (P00008) with a firm objective, increasing the maximum amount to $520,400,000. This technological advancement, intended for several countries including Morocco, represents a crucial update for the F-16s, strengthening their defense and combat capabilities. The F-16 Viper Shield: cutting-edge technology

Indeed, contract FA8615-23-C-6050, expanded to include long-lead materials, allows Lockheed Martin to begin production tasks immediately. The work, being performed in Fort Worth, Texas, is expected to be completed by June 30, 2028. This modification concerns Foreign Military Sales (FMS) for several countries, including the Kingdom of Morocco, which will benefit from this technology. point.
