Following an attempted rape and homicide reported in a medical office, a police intervention took place yesterday evening in Issy-les-Moulineaux (Hauts-de-Seine). The alleged attacker was arrested and then taken into police custody, CNEWS learned from police sources.

The events took place around 10:30 p.m. Alerted by witnesses, police officers went to a medical office on Tuesday June 25, located in Issy-les-Moulineaux (Hauts-de-Seine). On site, the police observed an attack in progress when they heard women’s screams, death threats and calls for help coming from inside the office, a police source told CNEWS this Wednesday. .

While the screams came from a locked room, in front of which chairs had been placed by witnesses to prevent the attacker from fleeing, the officials managed to enter. The victim, a medical secretary born in 2000, was found naked, lying on the ground while a man threatened to kill her using scissors which he held to her throat.

According to CNEWS information, the alleged attacker shouted to the police “don’t move or I will kill her”. However, thanks to the use of a taser, the police managed to subdue the individual before arresting him.

For her part, slightly injured, the medical secretary told investigators that the attacker had entered the office under the pretext of being recorded. After asking her for help and then complimenting her, he allegedly forced her to undress before grabbing scissors from the desk. He then allegedly locked the door and threw himself at her.

An attacker under OQTF

Born in February 1992 in Algiers and of Algerian nationality, the man was the subject of two search files: one for Obligation to Leave French Territory (OQTF) and the other for an Administrative Ban on Return. In addition, the man admitted to police officers that he had used cocaine, which was confirmed by a drug test.

He was taken into custody for attempted rape under the influence of narcotics as well as attempted intentional homicide under the influence of narcotics. Finally, the suspect is known to the police for aggravated robbery, kidnapping and kidnapping, extortion and sexual assault on minors. However, the police did not indicate whether he had been convicted for these acts, some of which date back to 2018.
