The ranking of Group E, that of the Red Devils, is simple: everyone has 3 points. Which means that each nation can still qualify but also be eliminated.
After two days, the four teams in Group E of the European Nations Football Championship have three points, making all scenarios possible on the final day on Wednesday.
The Red Devils currently occupy second place with a positive goal difference of plus one and two goals scored. This is one less than the provisional leader, Romania, who found the net three times in the first match.
If they take at least one point against Ukraine on Wednesday on the last day, Wednesday in Stuttgart (6:00 p.m.), the Red Devils are assured of at least second place in the group and therefore assured of direct qualification for second round. To win the group you need a victory and then hope that Slovakia doesn’t beat Romania.
In case of defeat, third place is also possible, if Slovakia wins against Romania. In the event of a defeat against the Ukrainians, elimination will be certain if Romania does not lose against Slovakia.
