Will Manu Disabato, head of the Be Frameries list, be able to become mayor as agreed following the majority pact signed with the MR? It’s still uncertain. The elected Ecologist is already proclaiming it: working with the PS is out of the question.

The political situation is more than tense in Frameries. Geoffrey Coupé, elected on the MR & Vous list, has just announced that he will not vote, on December 2, for the majority pact that he signed a few weeks ago. But this decision could call everything into question in the sense that the Be Frameries and MR majority only hold on to one seat! And by December 2, the elected MR could still change his mind.

Faced with the liberal’s announcement and the position of the head of the PS list Arnaud Malou, Manu Disabato, who was to become mayor with the MR – Be Frameries majority, reacted strongly: “I want to say that I am totally committed to put an end to 128 years of management of a single political party, namely the Socialist Party. Furthermore, I cannot agree to condone the mafia-like practices that have taken place in recent weeks on the part of the Frameries socialists. And I’m not talking to you about the techniques used to get voices. It is therefore out of the question for us to find any agreement between Be Frameries and the PS. »
For Manu Disabato, the majority pact still holds: “We still wish to make an agreement with the MR to bring about the change that is so demanded of us by a majority of the population of Frameries and I remain available to meet the MR and clarify things in view of the political situation to confirm the majority pact which was signed by all the elected officials of the MR and Be Frameries. This will not, of course, be at any price. The result of the elections must be respected in terms of representation of our two parties. I have made contact with Florence Van Hout and am available to also have contact with Geoffrey Coupé to check if a solution can be found. »
