Tunisia’s climate continues to vary with marked changes today, heralding local precipitation and a gradual rise in temperatures in some areas.
Showers expected in the northwest
The day will start with some scattered rain in the morning, mainly in the far northwest of Tunisia. The rest of the country will experience partly cloudy skies, but this will change as the day goes on.
Afternoonclouds will concentrate in the western, northern and central regions of the country, causing the formation of local storm cells accompanied by showers.
Strong winds in the south and near the coasts
The wind will blow from northern sector in the northern regionsa you eastern sector in the center and south. He will be strong near the coast as well as in the south where sand swirls are expected, locally affecting visibility. Elsewhere, winds will be moderate to light.
Maritime conditions: Moderate rough waters
At sea, the situation will remain agitated in the north with moderate waves, while the eastern coasts will see conditions slightly to moderately disturbed.
Temperatures rising in the south
Regarding temperatures, the day will be relatively mild in the north and near the coastwith maximums oscillating between 24 and 28°C. In the center and some southern regions, temperatures will be higher, reaching 29 to 33°Cwith peaks that can climb up to 37°C in the far south.
Be vigilant to sudden climate changes, particularly stormy rain expected in the west and strong winds in the south.
