Bruno Gollnisch’s dodging defense

HEARING REPORT – Believing that a French court is incompetent to judge the actions of a European elected official, the former number 2 of the National Front often evaded the president’s questions this Tuesday.

On page 16, Bruno Gollnisch appears at a meeting in Sofia. Page 17, Bruno Gollnisch participates in one of these “Viennese balls so criticized (editor’s note: to attract to the Austrian capital, according to certain observers, activists from the most extreme right) which are a bit like our Debutante Ball”. In order to demonstrate to the court to what extent the activities of an MEP and those of a French party leader (at the time the FN) are linked, Mr. Gollnisch paid a copious “hagiographical pamphlet which only says good things about (him)produced by (ses) fictitious assistants as the press says”.
