The final results of the 2024 Singapore F1 Grand Prix

Here are the official and final results of the 2024 Singapore F1 Grand Prix, the eighteenth round of the Formula 1 world championship, held this Sunday, September 22 on the Marina Bay street circuit.

It is McLaren driver Lando Norris who wins the 2024 Singapore F1 Grand Prix this Sunday, the Briton finishing 20 seconds ahead of Max Verstappen’s Red Bull and 40 seconds ahead of the other McLaren driven by Australian Oscar Piastri.

George Russell, Charles Leclerc, Lewis Hamilton, Carlos Sainz, Fernando Alonso, Nico Hülkenberg and Sergio Perez completed the top ten at the finish of this eighteenth round of the 2024 Formula 1 season.

The abandonments: There were two retirements this Sunday at the 2024 Singapore Grand Prix. Williams driver Alex Albon had to retire due to engine overheating on the 17th lap of the race.

Haas driver Kevin Magnussen also retired two laps from the finish in order to preserve his mechanics because he had just suffered a puncture after hitting a wall and therefore no longer had the chance of finishing in the points.

Penalties: There were no penalties at the Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday.

Driver of the day: Australian Daniel Ricciardo was voted “Driver of the Day” this Sunday at the Singapore Grand Prix. The Visa Cash App RB driver crossed the finish line in last place. He collected 20.1% of the votes from fans, ahead of Lando Norris (17.8%), Charles Leclerc (13.6%), Franco Colapinto (8.7%) and Oscar Piastri (8%).

Best lap in race: Daniel Ricciardo set the fastest lap in the race this Sunday in Singapore. The Australian driver set a 1.34.486 on the 60th lap of the race. Having finished outside the top ten, the Australian did not pocket the bonus point.
