It was reported that fitness YouTuber and bodybuilder Park Seung Hyun died at the age of 35.
On January 6, Park Seung Hyun's older brother shared the news on the YouTuber's social media. He wrote:
“At 3:51 p.m. on January 5, 2025, my younger brother Seung Hyun passed away due to health issues.
Our parents are deeply heartbroken and will not be accepting visitors to the memorial. Please offer your condolences and pray that he rests in peace. »
Born in 1990, Park Seung Hyun was a fitness YouTuber and bodybuilder with 830,000 subscribers. He was very active and had notably uploaded his last YouTube video only five days before his death.
In 2019, Park Seung Hyun was given a suspended prison sentence after admitting to using and selling illegal substances. Following this incident, he launched a denunciation campaign, the “Steroid Disclosure Movement”, aimed at exposing the illegal use of substances in the bodybuilding and fitness industry.
Last October, he resumed his activities after a 10-month break, but revealed that he was struggling with depression.
