A few months ago, singer Vianney made an announcement to his fans. That of informing them that he would not return to the stage and was putting concerts on hold to fully enjoy his family life and his son Edgar born in 2021, the fruit of his love affair with the cellist Catherine Robert. Which did not prevent him from collaborating with several artists in the shadows but without being on the road and therefore deprived of his family.
However, Vianney has not drawn a line on travel yet. And living in the Paris region, it’s aboard a two-wheeler that the 33-year-old artist races to his appointments. Unfortunately, one of these last trips did not turn out as he had hoped.
Vianney injured after scooter accident
As he made known on his Instagram account this Wednesday, January 8, Vianney was the victim of a scooter accident which today leaves his right foot in a cast. Since his visit to the emergency room, photos of which he revealed to his community on social networks (see our slideshow), he has only been able to move around using crutches: “Note to self. Scootering in Paris is riskier than off-piste skiing” he wrote in the caption of a photo of him lying on a sofa, the cat on his legs.
Nevertheless, the singer keeps smiling and gives a thumbs up to indicate that, despite the physical circumstances he is going through, everything is going well for him. And that does not prevent him from continuing to respect his commitments since he will take part as planned, unlike Slimane, in the Enfoirés concerts according to his statements: “See you anyway with the restaurants of the heart next week.”
More fear than harm for Vianney, like Jeanne Mas, also recently the victim of a road accident in the United States. Comments from Internet users were not long in coming on the publication, shared between desolation and relief to see their idol in one piece: “Take care of yourself, Vianney. Fortunately, you are already healing, courage”, “It’s off to a good start this year, rest well in the meantime”, “Good recovery and good forced rest, I hope you are better.” All we can do is wish him that 2025 ends on a better note than the one on which it began…
