In March 2023, Stromae stopped his tour Multitude due to health concerns. He had already publicly declared that he suffered from depression and psychological decompensation, which results in a sudden disruption of a person’s psychological balance. As a reminder, he revealed his new song, My best enemywhich he performed as a duet with Pomme for the Netflix series Arcane a few weeks ago. Stromae fans can count on Coralie Barbier, his wife since 2015, to share glimpses of their daily life. Although discreet, the latter from time to time publishes photos of her husband and their child on her social networks. This January 4, 2025, she posted several photos of their little boy. Father and son walk on a beach with their dog. The six-year-old has grown up and holds his pet’s leash himself. In the caption of this post, Coralie Barbier wrote “2025”, revealing how she celebrated the new year.
Stromae received a high distinction from the hands of the King of the Belgians
Since the announcement of the end of his tour, Stromae has gone out very little and has not revealed himself in public. He nevertheless made an exception on November 21 for a particular event. Indeed, he received the honorary distinction of Commander of the Order of the Crown, which rewards artists for their achievements. It was decorated by Philippe, the King of the Belgians, in the Royal Palace of Brussels. For this exceptional occasion, the 39-year-old star appeared with a big smile to receive her medal. A great encouragement for the singer!
